💙 A Little About Me
I’m Kenneth Williams, but most people just call me Kenny. Beyond being a Licensed Therapist, I’m also a husband, father, and someone who understands that life can throw challenges our way. My own journey has taught me the importance of patience, resilience, and faith when facing struggles. I became a therapist because I wanted to help others find hope, healing, and strength—just as I’ve had to do in my own life. For me, counseling isn’t just a career—it’s a calling to walk alongside people as they discover their ability to grow and overcome.
Who I Work With
I provide individual, family, and marriage counseling, and work with clients facing:
My Approach
My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies including:
DBT is particularly effective for clients who struggle with intense emotions, relationship challenges, or impulsive behaviors. I help clients build skills in emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, which are core components of DBT.
Above all, I believe in meeting people where they are—with empathy, openness, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone.
What You Can Expect
I provide a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being yourself. Whether we work one-on-one, or with your partner or family, I aim to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools that make a real difference in your daily life.
Let’s Connect
Therapy is a partnership—and finding the right fit is essential. If you’re looking for a therapist who is grounded, compassionate, and practical, I’d be honored to work with you.
My Approach
I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach to our practice, meaning I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion and insight as we explore what’s holding you back and discover ways to move forward with clarity and purpose. Depending on your needs, I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
What to Expect
I believe healing begins with trust and connection. In our work together, you can expect open dialogue, mutual respect, and tailored support. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship issues, burnout, grief, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to meet you where you are with empathy and practical tools for growth.
A Little About Me
I became a social worker because I deeply value the resilience of the human spirit and the power of meaningful connection. I bring a calm, grounded presence to my sessions and strive to create an environment where clients feel safe to be themselves.
If you're looking for someone who will listen, support, and gently challenge you toward healing and personal growth, I’d be honored to work with you.
These are the main issues I can help with: substance use, anxiety, depression, and relationship or family conflict. Treatment may include skill-building through DBT, emotional support, and practical tools for healthier communication and coping. Clients often report improved mood, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of control in their lives.
